Amanda Schlitzer graduated from Chestnut Hill College with her BA in psychology. She
recently gained certification in Holistic Health Coaching from the Institute for Integrative
Nutrition. She also has her certification in personal training through ISSA. Amanda’s passions
include fitness, good food, and the mind/body connection. Amanda is a counselor and exercise
group instructor. Her focus is to keep a balance between bringing the fun back to exercise and
proper fueling to maintain a healthy body and mind. When Amanda is not counseling or running
groups, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, biking, cooking, trying new
restaurants, and loving her dog Luna.
Health Coaching:
Amanda practices a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that she looks at how
all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to
overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? As you work together,
you will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.
Amanda’s approach is not to dwell on calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. It is not to create lists
of restrictions of good and bad foods. Instead, she will work with her clients to create a happy,
healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and rewarding.
Together you’ll work to reach your health goals in areas such as achieving optimal weight,
reducing food cravings, increasing sleep, and maximizing energy. As you work together, you’ll
develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for you and
implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance and health.
As a client of Amanda’s health coaching program, you will…

To decide if health coaching is right for you, we invite you to schedule a free initial
consultation with Amanda. During this session, you will discuss your health and lifestyle to
determine how she can best support you in achieving your goals.
(Health Coaching sessions are an hour-long each and done in person at The Cedars House, or
via the telephone or Skype)

Personal Training:
Whether you are just starting out and want to ease into exercise, or if you have been active for years, Amanda will work with you individually and design 1 hour workouts that are fun, effective, and perfect for whatever results you desire for your health, body, and life. You will
leave feeling inspired, strong, fit, and energized!
